Wipe Out Coronavirus

What was the inspiration behind the Wipe Out Coronavirus collection?

Whatever your stance on the current pandemic caused by the Coronavirus might be, we can agree on one thing - we want this virus to disappear.

In a computer world, there is a simple command line you can use to permanently delete your files and directories. It goes like this,

sudo rm -rf

Let’s say you have a folder named Coronavirus on your computer and you want to delete it. To execute the command line, you’d need to type,

sudo rm -rf Coronavirus

And just like that, your Coronavirus folder with all its content is now wiped out.

While we have no ability to wipe out this disease with a command line in real life, we can use it as a metaphor for hope.

Using the sudo rm -rf Coronavirus command line as a metaphor, I created this collection to remind us we are not helpless in the fight against the Coronavirus. We can and we will "wipe it out".

If you still haven't, check out the Wipe Out Coronavirus apparel collection now. £2 for every item sold is donated to the COVID-19 charities.

Stay strong. Stay safe.
